SONELGAZ has selected IMM for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a new gas engine power plant in Ifidil, in the Wilaya of Illizi, Algeria.

This turnkey greenfield project includes the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a power plant equipped with three Mitsubishi gas engines, as well as all electro-mechanical auxiliaries, the 30 kV grid connection, the control and monitoring system with its control room, and full civil engineering works, including the operations buildings, workshop, and warehouse.

Designed to meet the specific needs of isolated grids and local constraints, this project implements a reliable, flexible, and high-performance gas-based power generation solution.

This new mission once again illustrates the strong partnership between SONELGAZ and IMM, with IMM having been present in Algeria for over 35 years. This renewed trust consolidates IMM’s position as a leading EPC partner for power generation projects in Algeria and confirms its expertise in delivering robust energy infrastructure in demanding environments.
