IMM wins the contract to modernisation the Balingué power station in Mali .
This 22 April 2014, Energie Du Mali (EDM), the public electricity producer of the Republic of Mali, officially entrusted IMM with the conversion to heavy fuel oil and the renovation of the instrumentation & control of the Balingué power station, located in the city of Bamako.
This conversion will enable EDM to significantly reduce the fuel costs associated with the production of this plant.
For an amount of more than six million euros, this operation aims at the modernization of this 22MW power plant, originally installed by IMM. This will be done on a particularly short 9-months schedule.
This realization takes place in the context of a long and fruitful cooperation of more than twenty years between Energy of Mali and IMM.
