PARTS SALES & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

YOUR ROLE

As part of the after-sales service team, your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing client price requests, including technical analysis and client discussions/clarifications.
  • Preparing price requests for suppliers.
  • Drafting offers and technical dossiers for spare parts to present to clients.
  • Preparing supplier orders and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Verifying deliveries and supplier invoices to ensure proper receipt.
  • Managing and tracking sea or air shipments and customs clearance procedures.
  • Coordinating external export inspection services.
  • Handling client non-conformities when necessary.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

  • At least 3 years of experience.

3D INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

YOUR ROLE

You will join a multidisciplinary team and, under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, take on the following activities:

  • Role of Project Designer/Coordinator: Integration of design (layout) and multidisciplinary coordination of CAD studies (civil engineering/architecture/landscaping, electromechanics, metal structures, piping, cable routing, etc.) to optimize internal and external studies with efficient interface management.
  • Creation of P&IDs, supported by engineers.
  • Development of guide plans for outsourcing detailed studies (civil engineering, steel structures, etc.).
  • Supervision and review of outsourced detailed plans.
  • 3D Design and Modeling of the entire power plant:
    • Civil engineering (including basements, trenches, roads, access routes, etc.)
    • Buildings (technical, administrative, sanitary, etc.) in concrete and/or steel structures
    • Installation of mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical equipment
    • Walkways and various access points
    • Piping and supports (potentially with insulation and electrical tracing)
    • HVAC and ventilation systems
    • Cable trays, cabinets, and electrical enclosures
    • Etc.
  • Generating 2D execution and assembly drawings from the above 3D models.
  • Reviewing, validating, and integrating supplier CAD documents.
  • (Providing remote technical support to the site team during installation).
  • Creating as-built drawings.
  • Ensuring compliance with (and optimizing) internal procedures related to engineering and document management.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in managing and executing CAD for large-scale multidisciplinary industrial projects (ideally construction or revamping of factories/plants/production lines internationally), with coordination and supervision of internal and external CAD studies.
  • General understanding of industrial processes (P&IDs, functional descriptions, etc.).
  • Experience in most of the disciplines listed in the job description.
  • Interest in CAD in general, naturally curious, open-minded, and with strong spatial visualization skills.
  • (Technical on-site experience to integrate real-world conditions into CAD studies and provide remote support to the site team during installation).
  • Team player, autonomous, open-minded, and proactive.

Languages :

    • French (native)
    • English (basic technical knowledge)

Software :

    • Office Tools: Windows, MS Office.
    • CAD Tools:
      • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with strong experience in 3D modeling using a recent version of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
      • Experience with Autodesk Plant3D / P&ID is a significant asset. If not, you are willing to undertake training in this software.

PROJECT ENGINEER & - DESIGN OFFICE

  • Active across the African continent and Eastern Europe.
  • Serving both public and private clients.
  • Headquartered in Waterloo.

Your Role

You will join a multidisciplinary team and, under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and Project Manager, take on the following responsibilities in electricity, instrumentation, and control systems (E&IC):

Engineering:

  • Design and produce general E&IC study documents (single-line diagrams, consumer lists, cable lists, control system architecture, functional analyses, input/output lists, calculation notes, etc.) for various systems/circuits (low/medium/high voltage power, DC & UPS systems, control panels & I/O, control system development & integration, grounding, lighting, ICT, CCTV, fire detection, lightning protection, etc.).
  • Design, sizing, and specification (calculation notes, procurement specifications, datasheets, etc.) of E&IC project equipment such as generator alternators, power transformers, MV switchgear, main LV boards & auxiliary power panels, inverters/batteries, RMU, fire detection, CCTV, lightning protection, etc.
  • Contribute to the creation of P&IDs and associated functional descriptions, under the lead of mechanical engineers.
  • Define E&IC requirements for electromechanical packages managed by the project’s mechanical engineer.
  • Design and size grounding networks and short-circuit current calculations.
  • Define, size, and specify cables, protections, and routing in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Guide and supervise draftsmen in creating electrical layout plans and cable routing plans.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and create bill of materials (BOMs) for the procurement of cables, cable trays, outlets, and accessories for all the mentioned circuits.
  • Consolidate manufacturer documentation to be submitted to the final client for the defined scope.

Procurement / Supplier Management:

  • Price requests, technical-commercial comparative analyses, negotiations, and order placements (under the project manager’s supervision), as well as supplier management from A to Z (including factory acceptance tests “FAT”), for the entire electrical scope described above.

Installation and Commissioning:

  • Drafting E&IC installation and commissioning manuals.
  • Providing first-line support to site supervisors for E&IC issues, with occasional on-site missions when necessary.
  • Managing as-built documentation (E&IC section).

Tenders:

  • Analyzing client tender specifications.
  • Preparing technical-commercial offers for IMM’s E&IC project scope, ensuring client requirements are met and expected functionality and performance are achieved, while optimizing cost solutions.

Your Profile and Skills

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of at least 7 years in a similar role for large-scale, multidisciplinary industrial projects, ideally international.
  • Strong knowledge of E&IC aspects (low/medium/high voltage, instrumentation, control systems).
  • General understanding of industrial processes (P&IDs, functional analyses, etc.).
  • Technical expertise in industrial equipment listed in the job description.
  • General understanding of interfaces with mechanical systems.
  • Technical site experience (for integration into studies and technical support during installation and commissioning).
  • Team player, autonomous, open-minded, and proactive.
  • Willing to travel for short international missions for supplier follow-ups (FAT in Europe/Asia) and site supervision (Africa).

Languages:

  • French (native)
  • English (professional proficiency, written and spoken)
