ABOUT IMM

- An independent contractor specializing in turnkey design and construction (EPC) of power plants: thermal (generators), hydraulic (turbines), and solar (photovoltaic panels), up to 100 MW.
- Projects and references across the African continent.

YOUR ROLE
As part of the after-sales service team, your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing client price requests, including technical analysis and client discussions/clarifications.
- Preparing price requests for suppliers.
- Drafting offers and technical dossiers for spare parts to present to clients.
- Preparing supplier orders and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Verifying deliveries and supplier invoices to ensure proper receipt.
- Managing and tracking sea or air shipments and customs clearance procedures.
- Coordinating external export inspection services.
- Handling client non-conformities when necessary.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Autonomous, creative, and versatile.
- Methodical and detail-oriented.
- Interest in technical aspects.
- Team player.
- Clear, open, and effective communicator.
- Proficient in office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Curious, open-minded, and internationally oriented.
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in French and English.

YOUR ROLE
You will join a multidisciplinary team and, under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, take on the following activities:
- Role of Project Designer/Coordinator: Integration of design (layout) and multidisciplinary coordination of CAD studies (civil engineering/architecture/landscaping, electromechanics, metal structures, piping, cable routing, etc.) to optimize internal and external studies with efficient interface management.
- Creation of P&IDs, supported by engineers.
- Development of guide plans for outsourcing detailed studies (civil engineering, steel structures, etc.).
- Supervision and review of outsourced detailed plans.
- 3D Design and Modeling of the entire power plant:
- Civil engineering (including basements, trenches, roads, access routes, etc.)
- Buildings (technical, administrative, sanitary, etc.) in concrete and/or steel structures
- Installation of mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical equipment
- Walkways and various access points
- Piping and supports (potentially with insulation and electrical tracing)
- HVAC and ventilation systems
- Cable trays, cabinets, and electrical enclosures
- Etc.
- Generating 2D execution and assembly drawings from the above 3D models.
- Reviewing, validating, and integrating supplier CAD documents.
- (Providing remote technical support to the site team during installation).
- Creating as-built drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with (and optimizing) internal procedures related to engineering and document management.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in managing and executing CAD for large-scale multidisciplinary industrial projects (ideally construction or revamping of factories/plants/production lines internationally), with coordination and supervision of internal and external CAD studies.
- General understanding of industrial processes (P&IDs, functional descriptions, etc.).
- Experience in most of the disciplines listed in the job description.
- Interest in CAD in general, naturally curious, open-minded, and with strong spatial visualization skills.
- (Technical on-site experience to integrate real-world conditions into CAD studies and provide remote support to the site team during installation).
- Team player, autonomous, open-minded, and proactive.
Languages :

- English (basic technical knowledge)
Software :

- Office Tools: Windows, MS Office.
- CAD Tools:
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, with strong experience in 3D modeling using a recent version of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
- Experience with Autodesk Plant3D / P&ID is a significant asset. If not, you are willing to undertake training in this software.
